Please join us in downtown Cincinnati to socialize, network, and learn more about the only U.S. recipient of one of the P&G Alumni Network 2009 Philanthropy Awards: Dress for Success Cincinnati! Dress for Success has graciously offered to host our March meeting at The 4th Street Boutique downtown!

‫ ‬Dress for Success Cincinnati (DFS) is an ongoing program that provides support for low income, working women. Clients are initially provided a suit and accessories in order to present a professional appearance when interviewing. After obtaining employment, DFS continues to help clients by providing ongoing support and education through workshops to help build a successful career. DFS is funded by corporate and individual donations, as well as by proceeds of The Fourth Street Boutique, a clothing resale shop.‫ ‬ ‫ ‬

Mary Ivers, founder and president, will tell us about DFS. We'll also hear from one of the clients that DFS has assisted. Tours of the Boutique and Dress for Success facilities will be available.‫ ‬ ‫ ‬Appetizers and drinks will be provided by DFS.

There is no charge for the evening. If you would like to make a clothing donation, DFS accepts all types of women's clothing and accessories, since all donations can be used in either the Boutique or Dress for Success. Right now, they are low on women's shoes, especially larger sizes.‫ ‬ ‫ ‬If you would like to know more about Dress for Success before the March 25th meeting, please visit their website at www.dfscincy.org.

DFS is also hosting a "Beyond the Suit" breakfast on Wednesday 3/17 from 8-9 am at the Cintas Center. Information on this event is available here .

The Boutique is located at 135 West Fourth Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202, (513) 651-3372. Nearby parking is available in the Tower Place garage (corner of 4th and Race Streets), the Cincinnati Enquirer building garage (corner of 3rd and Elm), and a surface lot across from Macy's (corner of 5th and Race).‫ ‬
